Contract for Professional Services provided by Codimite PTE LTD

Last Updated Date:July 30, 2025

Overview

Welcome to camerastudio.app (the “website” or "App"), a service provided by Codimite PTE LTD. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs how we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose your information when you access and use the website, as well as any related services, tools, or features provided by us (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy applies to information we collect through our Services and in email, text, and other electronic communications sent through or in connection with our Services. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Services.

1. Information We Collect

Camera Studio is designed to function with minimal data collection. We only collect limited user information to support optional features such as feedback, Google Drive integration, and aggregate usage analytics.

A. Information You Provide Directly

Feedback Form: If you choose to submit feedback through the app, your email address (auto-filled via Google Sign-In, if applicable) and any attached screenshot will be sent to our support team. This information is used only for support purposes and is not shared externally.

B. Information Collected Through Google Sign-In (Optional)

If you choose to sign in to Camera Studio using your Google Account (e.g., to upload snapshots to Google Drive), we request access to:

  • • Email Address: Used to autofill the feedback form and link your session to Google Drive features.
  • • Google Drive Access (drive.file scope): Grants permission to save snapshots into a dedicated “Camera Studio” folder in your personal Drive. We do not access, store, or view any other content in your Google Drive.

Signing in with Google is optional. All core features (e.g., camera feed, annotations, snapshot capture to local device) are available without signing in.

C. Information Collected Automatically
  • • Usage Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized and aggregated information about how users interact with the app. This may include feature usage, session duration, device type, crash events, and general behavior trends. This data is used to improve app performance and prioritize feature development.
  • • Approximate Location (via Analytics): Google Analytics may infer city-level location data from the user’s IP address to provide insights into geographic usage patterns. Camera Studio does not request location permissions, access precise location, or store this data directly.
  • • Device Information: General technical details such as browser type, ChromeOS version, screen resolution, and error logs may be collected in aggregate to help diagnose issues or understand trends across device types.

2. What We Do Not Collect

  • • We do not collect user names, profile pictures, or phone numbers.
  • • We do not access your full Google Drive - only files you create via the app.
  • • We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, cookies, or behavioral tracking tools.
  • • We do not collect or store precise location or any financial/payment data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • I. To provide, operate, and maintain our Services (e.g., allowing you to capture and view documents).
  • II. To personalize your experience.
  • III. To enable you to save your captured snapshots to your Google Drive, if you choose to use this feature.
  • IV. To improve, personalize, and expand our Services.
  • V. To understand and analyze how you use our Services.
  • VI. To develop new products, services, features, and functionality.
  • VII. To communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the Service, and for marketing and promotional purposes (with your consent where required by law).
  • VIII. For compliance purposes, including enforcing our Terms of Service, or other legal rights, or as may be required by applicable laws and regulations or requested by any judicial process or governmental agency.
  • IX. To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud.

4. Google User Data & API Policy Compliance

Camera Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • II. Scopes Requested: We request access using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope.
  • III. How We Use Google Drive Access:
    • A. Check for the existence of a folder named "Camera Studio" in your Google Drive.
    • B. If the "Camera Studio" folder does not exist, the App will create it in your Google Drive.
    • C. Upload the snapshot image file (created by you within the App) into this "Camera Studio" folder.
  • IV. Limitations on Use of Google Drive Data:
    • A. Camera Studio does not access, read, modify, or delete any other files or folders in your Google Drive outside of the "Camera Studio" folder and the specific snapshot files it creates within that folder at your direction.
    • B. We do not use this permission to browse your Google Drive.
    • C. We do not use information from your Google Drive for advertising purposes.
    • D. We do not sell or transfer your Google Drive data.
    • E. Access to this data by human personnel at Codimite PTE LTD is strictly limited to necessary troubleshooting or support initiated by you, or as required for security or legal compliance.
